PLYMOUTH SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 15
Nauset AAA had a game where they show growth in softball. Down 15-0, the warriors held South to no runs the last 4 innings. Easily they could have given up ,and played a mercy run rule game. But the Nauset AAA came alive in the 4th inning by scoring 8 runs.
Sabrina Santos started the inning with a sharp single, that was followed by singles from Morgan Brown, Emma Stevens,and Taylor Hughes. WhitneyEnobakhare walked, Shanice Kelly singled then three straight walks to Sam Tavano, Maddy Thomas and Sabrina Santos. Morgan Brown got her second hit of the inning to plate the 8th run.
Nauset AAA played with heart and never gave up. Even though we didn't come out on top, this game was a definite character builder. We slammed the door on our opponents the last 4 innings.
